The best thing about this dessert, and what it is so easy that you can do to satisfy your taste buds! You really can not choose the ingredients you want, but these are the ones I’ve used before:

Cake

Pudding

Fruits

Cool Whip

Here are some other ideas of things you can choose between:

Cake: yellow, angel food, chocolate, strawberry, white

Pudding: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lemon, pistachio

Fruit: pineapple, cherry pie filling, bananas, peaches, pears (you can use as a fruit you want)

Chocolate shavings, cinnamon candies, coconut, walnuts (or other nuts) are also great opportunities.

Now, to “build” your new layer cake, all you need do is layer the ingredients in a clear glass bowl. The presentation is so beautiful, because you can see all the colors and ingredients through the glass! You can choose the ingredients and colors to coincide with the holiday to prepare the cake.

Start with the cake as the first layer – (break into pieces or cut into squares), add the fruit, and then with milk, stir and chill. Cake – fruit – Boudin – Cool Whip, etc. – until the container is nearly full.

You can then top with topics such as: coconut, nuts, or cherries, if desired.

If you want colored coconut, just place the coconut in a ziplock bag with a few drops of food coloring and mix until desired color is reached.

An example of a beautiful holiday display, a large plate with a glass bowl in the center. Add green coconut “grass” around the bowl. Then add a couple of well placed Easter eggs (candy, or real ones =) surrounded by green grass.
